Biography

I am a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist - a medical doctor, trained and specialising in mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders.

I have been working within the NHS for over 10 years and currently am a CAMHS Consultant in Windsor, Slough and Maidenhead. In addition to my clinical role, I am the Named Doctor for Safeguarding for Berkshire NHS Trust. I have previously been an Honorary Consultant at Great Ormond St Hospital.

My work is primarily based on assessing children and adolescents with ADHD, Autism and Aspergers, Tourettes, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Psychosis and Bipolar disorder, Anxiety disorders and Depression.

I read Medicine at Barts & The London Medical School, intercalating a Biomedical Sciences Degree at Queen Mary University, at the same time. I completed my Royal College of Psychiatry Membership, while on rotation at UCLH and Whittington Hospital and Higher Training at Great Ormond St and Royal London Hospitals. I have an interest in neuropsychiatry, as well as the effects of War on Children. I earned a distinction in MSc War & Psychiatry at Kings College, London, and have undertaken Child & Adolescent Mental Health work in Uganda.
